Company History in brief:
Take a walk through Nanosoft's history.
Nanosoft is focused on continued innovation in technology and
continued success for our customers and alliance partners.
1994
- Nanosoft was formed by a group of young IT professionals
in December 1994
1995
- Started Client/Server Consulting services
division.
- Oracle, Peoplesoft and Visual Basic experts
- 20 consultants worked out of Detroit
1996
- Intranet and SAP (ABAP, Basis) practices were initiated
by Nanosoft
- Expanded to a team of nearly 50 consultants, 50% working
in SAP
1997
- The company has expanded to nearly 100 consultants, 70%
concentrating in SAP
- Additional offices were opened in Cleveland, Chicago and
Los Angeles
- The overseas RDF was opened in India.
1998
- The number of SAP consultants rose to well over
175
- Actively involved in e-Business and worked on various
new initiatives
- Began developing new products to suit the needs of its
clients
1999
- Became a National Implementation Partner of SAP
America
- Several new products were released at SAPPHIRE '99 in
Philadelphia
- Nanosoft enters into the Enterprise Application
Integration (EAI) space by partnering with Mercator
Software.
- Started the CRM practice
- Became alliance partner with SIEBEL Systems, Inc.
- Became SAP Development Partner in October.
- Involved in the development of SAP R/3 Automotive PCC
Rel 4.6B
2000
- Increased the Siebel Practice to 40 Consultants
- Partnered with BEA Systems and currently has a team of
25, in this practice.
- Became a Microsoft Certified Solutions Provider
- Became an Allaire Alliance Partner
- Partnered with BroadVision in the Internet Relationship
Management(IRM) area.
- Nanosoft Partners with CrossWorlds to offer better
capabilities in the EAI space to our customers.
- Partnered with Mercury Interactive for providing, better
application testing services to our customers.
- Partnered with Seagate Software for reporting needs of
our customers.
2001
- Worked extensively with customers in their Enterprise
Applications Integration (EAI) initiatives.
- Partnered with the top EAI Vendors like TIBCO,
Webmethods, Vitria and Sybase (New Era of Networks).
- Partnered with FileNET, Trillium Software and Cyclone
Commerce to provide suitable solutions and/or
referrals.
- Extensively penetrated the Healthcare Industry and got
associated with majority of the Blues and assisted them in
HIPAA compliance, eBusiness Portal Development and
EAI.
- Expanded geographically by opening a satellite office at
Philadelphia, PA.
- Involved in the development of Siebel eAutomotive
version 7.0 Release along with Siebel Systems Inc.
- Added a number of customers of which 75% are from
Fortune 1000 Companies.
- Successfully completed Network Equipment Manufacturer
project as a remote EAI project from the corporate
office.
- Off Shore Development Facility in India used as a
potential way for cutting costs in meeting few clients'
expectations and for ready resources.
- Continued leading the local market in providing SAP
expertise by strengthening the relations with mySAP.com as a
developmental partner.
2002
- Got certified as a Minority C Corporation and been
continuously recognized by the MMBDC to bid more
aggressively for projects and be a value added
Partner.
- Ranked 98 in Inc 500 as one of the top 500 Fastest
Growing Companies in US.
- In India, got the ISO 9001 certification for our
offshore facility.
- Enhanced relationships with more and more direct
customers (around 60% are from Fortune 1000 Companies) while
retaining the existing customers successfully.
- Started the Offshore facility of Call Center by having a
dedicated line of voice over IP for Marketing and Sales
activities and Software Development and support
activities.
- Became the IBM Corporation Premier Business Partner to
influence and/or resell IBM Software with a focus on
WebSphere suite of products. Reached the goal for 2002 by
closing some software sales deals successfully and having
more than the required technical and sales certifications as
a business partner.
- UCCnet, Ascential Software, Stellent, MatrixOne are the
new partnerships added to provide suitable solutions or
referrals and restarted the relation with Crystal Decisions
and Mercury Interactive.
- Continued our strong partnerships with SAP, Siebel,
webMethods and FileNET.
- Got included in the EAI Journal Vendor Guide as part of
Service providers listing.
- Participated extensively in various IBM Residency
Programs at USA & UK.
- Also became the world renowned Gartner Group's client in
using their research reports and attending various Gartner
events.
2003
- Opening of Nanosoft City, Nanosoft’s Global Offshore
Development Facility in India.
- Started Nanosoft’s WebSphere Innovation Center located in
Southfield, MI to support pre sales for IBM Websphere Brand
of products.
- Continued and strengthened the strong partnership with
IBM both as a Software Reseller and a services
Partner.
- Continued our contribution to IBM Redbooks with
participation in the IBM ITSO Residency programs.
- Continued and strengthened the strong partnership with
IBM both as a Software Reseller and a services
Partner.
- Actively involved in Rendering Siebel UAN using IBM WBI
ICS in IBM development labs in Burlingame, CA.
2004
- Significant growth in the number of outsourced
implementations executed at Nanosoft City, Visakhapatnam,
India.
- Transformed the WIC into a BPIC (Business Partner
Innovation Center) to support pre sales in IBM WebSphere and
Lotus Brands.
- Opened satellite office in San Francisco, CA.
- Actively involved in the product development around WPC
(WebSphere Product Center) at IBM Development labs.
- Opened offices in Windsor, Canada, Singapore and
Australia in the APAC region and London, UK to reach out to
the UK and EMEA regions.
- Worked closely with IBM winback teams to strategize on
EAI winback opportunities.
- Involved in competitive analysis between IBM WBI and SAP
XI tools and technologies along with the corresponding IBM
teams.
